Better Eyebrows?

Iv'e never been one to over tweeze, but latley iv'e been searching for a product to help my eyebrows look more defined due to their light color. I couldn't count the number of times that I bough different colored eyeshadows, angled brushes, and lastly eyebrow pencils. So I decided to take a trip to the mall to see the Benefit makeup eyebrow specialist(: I asked her "what could I use to fill in my brows so they look more defined?" I have already done some browsing around on the enternet for high end eyebrow products. But since I have already tried so many in the past, why was I willing to spend much more on a product that I have never even tried or heard anyone I knew use it? I guess you could call it "taking a chance." Any ways, she instantly showed me two of their eyebrow products, I was fimiliar with both already. Benefit's Instant Brow, and Brow-Zings. I told her I wasn't too comfortable with the brow powder product. So she picked the Instant Brow in shade Medium. Ideal for my hair color, and oddly my skin? I don't know? But either way I was really suprised of how "Natural" they looked. And how different it made my face look. FINALLY! A product that didn't make me look like a freak with abnormally dark brows. I was so impressed, I even bought another  product that day. The second was benefit's High Brow. A luminious pinky tone highlighter for highlighing your brow bone. The results were amazing than just applying the pencil alone. So the cost in the end for both products was around $40.00. Alot I know, but totally worth it in the end:D

Nars Blush Vs. Elf Blush

Nars Blush Vs. Elf Blush

Nars Blush in Delicate
My absolute favorite  blush ever! It only cost $3.00 and trust me it is so worth it. I was planning on purchasing an expensive blush, known as Nars blush in the color "Desire". It has a beautiful "cotton candy pink" tone to it. (from Sephora website) priced around $30.00 with Tax and all.  However I then asked my self "How could I get the most out of my money?" So I decided to go to Target in search of a more affordable blush with the same color and matte effect I was so desperately going  to buy at Sephora. My purchase was a drugstore brand i'm sure your already familiar with. It was an ELF brand blush, the color was pink passion and it had absolutely no shimmer. Which is something I generally hate on my face besides on eyeshadows. This color was so similar to the other blush, I was actually in awe! I  saved a total of around $27.00. A great save I must say. Check out my application from the product down below :D

My weight loss tips!

Making New Years Resolutions about Losing Weight?

First and foremost losing weight is not an easy task. I found myself last year weighing the biggest I have ever been. A whopping 165 pounds. I didn't always weigh that much, but eating fast food about every day will certainly  do that your body. I started to notice my clothes weren't fitting that well anymore. I was even getting tired a lot faster. So I decided to make a change over the summer and actually keep it.

My Exercise DVD of choice!!!

  1. I purchased a exercise DVD not knowing how well it would work, but I took a chance and i'm glad I did.
  2. I cut out ALL soda from my diet, including clear sodas as well
  3. If I ate a large meal that wouldn't be considered healthy, I at least did a few simple exercises for example, 20 sit ups, 10 leg lunges on each leg,
  4. I used my exercise video every other day so I wouldn't get so "tired out"
  5. Lastly I knew what foods were good and what weren't, we all have common knowledge about food choices for example maybe choosing to eat a lighter dinner instead of a greasy hamburger.
MOST importantly I began to see my weight drop over those three months from 165 to 145 to 137 and now to 128
Always try and do something active to balance out your food you intake. Walking, running or even dancing!:D
And remember, it takes time and DO NOT subject yourself to unhealthy weight loss such as not eating and vomiting. Trying to lose weight that way may make you thinner but everything you eat will automatically make you fat because your body wants to hold on to the food as much as it can.

Good Luck and let me know about your progress!;D

Curls with No heat?!

I really don't like to use heat products. I was a victim of dry hair at my own hand last year after dying my hair almost every color you can imagine. I tryed almost every hair treatment there is, from using basic home remideis to buying expensive products said to of supposedly "fix my dry hair." The only choice I really had was to cut off a good length of my hair. I  love wavy/curly hair, however my hair is straight naturally. So I tested many ways to curl my hair not using any curling iron what so ever that way I won't ever need to chop my hair off EVER again! One night while flipping through T.V channels I came across the American Movie Classic's Channel. An old movie of course was playing, the scence was a black and white picture of a mother tucking in her young daughter for bed. What caught my eye were these white cloth like things in the little girls hair. "Let me tighten them before you're off to bed" said the mother. She pulled the rag and fastend it into a little knot.
Don't worry, I wont go on about this movie but I thought, "Maybe I could try something similar?" So after many trials of hairclips, braids, and twisted up do's
I found something that works.
(Extra Info:)
I purchased my hair clips at H.E.B, however you can find these almost anywhere. The price was about $4.00

What you'll need???

Bare Minerals Cosmetics

The absolute best face product that iv'e ever used hands down! It gave a totally different feel about using makeup. The look of it on my face was completley natural looking. People even said that it look amazing. It didn't give off that chalky powder look that iv'e been acoustom to so much of my makeup history. I recieved it as a christmas gift from my best friend last year. It lasted almost a whole year! Now if your looking for something quck and easy to carry around with you, I wouldn't recomend this to you. It does take only about 2 minutes to apply but I did have to carry a rather larger bag to bring it with me to school/date/ect.
I recieved the "Starter Kit" Which came with two shades, a fair and fairly light. Which was very convient for me. Most of the time I find it difficult to find my correct shade. With this kit I was able to switch off between colors within the seasons. A typical price for this kit at sephora is about $65.00 Im not to sure about a dupe with this product only because the quality of this makeup is bar none. I hope you try it and witness the beautiful!

My Everyday Face Routine:)

Here is my every day face routine:
  1. Two main Brushes are fluffy brush, concealer brush
  2. Get my Primer Potion from Urban Decay
  3. Apply right under the eye to prep for conclear
  4. Use concealer brush to dab under the eyes, not swipe.
  5. After it dries, repeat the same process for your conclear
  6. Grab Triangle sponge and dab access product from underneath your eyes
  7. Lastly get fluffy brush and swirl into your powder and apply to your face in circle motions
